Hi there! 👋

Based in Rio de Janeiro, I am a UX Designer with over five years of experience crafting digital solutions that prioritize user needs while aligning with business objectives. My journey into design began after working for two years as a veterinarian—a field that instilled in me a deep understanding of empathy, systematic problem-solving, and advocacy for those who depend on my work.

Today, I channel these principles into designing intuitive, human-centered experiences across diverse sectors.

Design Method

My approach combines the rigor of Design Thinking with the adaptability required for real-world constraints.

Although there is no recipe for this, I usually divide my work into the four main phases below:

Curiosities about me

I have two cats, Chico and Zeca, both rescued from the street in situations of abandonment and mistreatment.

I've taken part in several animal protection actions in Brazil, helping more than 100 animals in total in precarious situations. Also, I volunteered at a shelter in Munich, Germany, assisting in the exotic small animal department.

In my spare time, I really enjoy painting and I have a little shop on Instagram where I sell personalized watercolors of pets, check out here @beatrizferreira.art.

My favorite hobby is playing online and console games. My passion for games started at a young age, playing on the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and PS1.
